The Ather Rizta builds on what was learned from the 450 Series. It brings a new platform and a design that’s meant to appeal to more people. The styling is more conservative, with smoother lines and rounded panels. It also has modern features like a single LED headlight and a stylish LED taillight. Plus, it comes with 12-inch alloy wheels at the front and back, ensuring a smooth and steady ride.
The Ather Rizta stands out for its big seat, which is made to fit two people comfortably. It also has a large flat floorboard where you can keep lots of stuff, like small things and even a gas cylinder.
The Ather Rizta is packed with cool technology. It borrows a bunch of features from the fancy 450X model, like a digital screen that you can touch, turn-by-turn navigation, and connecting to your smartphone. It also has the new Ather Stack 6 tech, which keeps handy features like Park Assist and auto hill hold. Riders can pick between two modes for riding: SmartEco for saving energy or Zip for a bit more speed.
According to the company, the Ather Rizta gets its power from a strong PMS electric motor attached to the frame. It can go from 0 to 40 kmph fast, in just 3.7 seconds, and has a top speed of 80 kmph. You can choose between different battery sizes. The smaller one, 2.9 kWh, can go up to 105 km on one charge, while the bigger 3.7 kWh battery can go up to 125 km. Importantly, the Rizta can go farther on a single charge compared to its older version, the Ather 450X.
The Ather Rizta promises a smooth ride with telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber at the back. It has good brakes too, with a disc at the front and a drum at the back for reliable stopping.
People who are interested can check out the Ather Rizta at the brand’s experience centers soon. It’s going up against other popular scooters like the TVS iQube, Ola S1 Pro, and Bajaj Chetak. The price starts at ₹1.10 lakh for the basic version and goes up to ₹1.24 to ₹1.44 lakh for the fancier versions (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
Ather Energy has made some improvements to its Ather Stack 6 software, which will be good news for all users. One big change is that Coasting regen is now turned on, which should make riding even better. Also, they’ll keep updating the software over the air until Gen 3, so you can expect your scooter to keep getting better and stay compatible with new stuff.
Halo Smart helmet

Alongside the Rizta scooter, Ather Energy has also revealed its Halo smart helmet. This helmet comes with built-in speakers for listening to music and taking calls, and it has noise cancellation and Bluetooth so you can connect it to your phone.
