A big leader from the BJP in Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey, is saying that Hemant Soren’s JMM party is thinking about making his wife, Kalpana Soren, the next chief minister of the state.
According to Dubey, Hemant Soren has asked his party members to come to Ranchi with their stuff. Word is, they’re thinking of making Kalpana Soren (Hemant Soren’s wife) the Chief Minister.
Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, came back to his home in Ranchi amidst a lot of political action. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) was supposed to question him in a money laundering case but had trouble finding him. The BJP says he’s “missing” and “on the run” from the government.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan had mentioned that he was closely monitoring the situation. “It is the job of the governor; I am doing it. We will cross the bridge when it comes,” he said.
In the interim, instructions have been given for all Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) belonging to the ruling coalition, which includes the JMM, the Congress, and the RJD, to remain in Ranchi, giving rise to conjecture about the subsequent developments.
