Shubman Gill brought a bit of a move to the innings but James Anderson sent him back just on the stroke of the break. A pretty even session this one. India would be content with its 100-plus total from the 30-odd overs, while England would be delighted with two wickets that fell in the session. Shoaib Bashir marked his debut with the wicket of Rohit Sharma and continued in tandem with Tom Hartley to keep the run flow in check.
