Ramadan 2024 Time of Iftar and Sehri
Muslims throughout the world celebrate Ramadan, also known as Ramzan, with great excitement and zeal.
People observe Roza (going 30 days without even drinking water) throughout the month of Ramadan. In addition, throughout Ramadan, people break their fast together to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones, friends, and family.
In 2024, Ramadan began on March 12 and ended on April 10. The tentative date of Eid is April 10th in the evening and ends on April 11th.
The Muslim community observes Roza, or fasting, from sunrise until sunset. The two meals that make up Roza are Iftaar, which is when people break the fast after dusk, and Sehri, which is the meal eaten before the sun rises. For Iftaar, extravagant feasts are prepared.
